Solid maple worktop upstands are created from high-quality European maple — the same that is used to construct our maple worktops. They are an effective alternative to tiling down to the surface of your worktops, and are a stylish finishing touch for wooden worktop installations.
_x000D_ _x000D_Maple upstands are intended to blend the worktops into the overall kitchen design, whilst serving to hide the small 5mm expansion gap that should be left between a worktop and adjacent wall.
_x000D_ _x000D_When installing solid wood worktops against uneven walls, our maple kitchen upstands are recommended as they help conceal small gaps that would otherwise be visible.
_x000D_ _x000D_Our maple kitchen worktop upstands are supplied with a square edge, allowing them to be immediately fitted to create an angular, chunky look. Alternatively, our fabrication team can apply a variety of edge profiles to fit in with your chosen kitchen theme.
