Best Kitchen Worktops for Accompanying Belfast Sinks
Belfast sinks are a popular choice for homes featuring our kitchen worktops, as their design is perfectly suited to the classic stylings of a wooden kitchen. We have a wide range of kitchen sinks on our website, including two standard single-bowl Belfast sinks, and two double bowl models.
These ceramic sinks have a glossy white finish, and as such we recommend pairing them with a darker worktop for a truly striking effect. Listed below are some of our recommended worktop choices:
Oak Worktops
Our oak worktops are an obvious pick when it comes to choosing a traditional timber to complement Belfast sinks. Oak is found in many farmhouse kitchen settings and is blessed with charming, rustic qualities that look superb alongside the bright white ceramic. Our oak worktops are available in two different grades and in a variety of stave formations: standard, Deluxe or full stave.
Iroko Worktops
Iroko worktops are initially dark yellow in colour but then mature into a deep bronze shade that has always proved incredibly popular with our customers. This luxurious African timber is perfectly at home in a wide variety of classic and contemporary kitchen settings, and the colour stands out even more when combined with a white ceramic Belfast sink. Iroko worktops can be ordered in standard, Deluxe and full stave constructions – we have a choice to suit any budget and taste.
Black American Walnut Worktops
Our black American walnut worktops are among the most luxurious choices in our collection. The rich colour and remarkable grain pattern are highly prized in classic kitchen settings, making black walnut an ideal choice for installation alongside one of our Belfast sinks. Like many of the other timbers in our collection, these black walnut worktops can be made in a standard construction with 40mm-wide staves; Deluxe surfaces with 90mm-wide staves; or full stave worktops with 90mm-wide staves that run the full length of the worktop.
